One of the best-kept secrets from Japan, their native distilled spirit, shochu, has been taking the U.S. and its 18 Japanese Restaurants by storm. The participating restaurants will showcase their individual flavor for Shochu Week by incorporating shochu from different Japanese regionalities and ingredients into a special, limited-time menu unique to their venue.
